Like the time I nearly got blown off a Welsh mountain during a gale, because the scenery looked so good. You couldn't even tell that I was holding onto a bollard and photographing one handed in the finished image. Disappointing.
Or the time I was chased out of a Northamptonshire field by a herd of cows. Did you know that lots of people are injured every year in cow stampedes? No, me neither. I thought that was bulls. I learned a valuable lesson that day; and didn't get the photograph.
Then there was THAT blizzard, where I honestly thought myself in imminent danger of hypothermia or my hand freezing to the camera. Ok, I may exaggerate at times, but as Neil Gaiman's Sandman said, 'You should never trust the storyteller, only the story.' Words to live by, I feel. And I did get the blizzard pictures, only none of them were usable. All that snow falling on the lens does blur things somewhat.
I'm a British woman, who's attempting to make a living on-line. This isn't a blog all about you buying my stuff (though that would be really lovely too, so please don't stop yourself, if that is your intention). It's a blog about my adventures while going in pursuit of things to photograph and products to make. It's more interesting than you may think.
